We all know toddlers like to put things in their mouth and that can be especially dangerous around unsafe houseplants and garden plants. Remove poisonous plants by giving them away to a friend who does not have children. Some dangerous plants might only cause a child to get an upset stomach while others will require calling the poison control hotline and a trip to the emergency room.
