How to predict the gender of a baby is one of the most sought out pieces of information pregnant women search for. Many accurate methods and inaccurate myths that exist to predict the gender of the baby and the Ramzi Method is somewhere in between.
The Ramzi Method determines gender of a baby at six weeks by looking at an ultrasound picture to see which side the placenta is on. If the placenta is on the right the research has shown that there is a very high likelihood the child will be a boy. If the placenta is on the left then a very high likelihood exists the child will be a girl.
When looking at the ultrasound picture, to use the Ramzi method do not pay attention to what side the baby is on. Instead, pay attention to the uterus and see if the placenta is implanted on the right side or the left side of the uterus. Note that a trans-vaginal picture will be on the side that you see, for instance if the placenta is on the right when you see it then it is on the right. On the other hand, if the ultrasound picture is abdominal view you would reverse the side meaning seeing the placenta on the right side would actually make it on the left side.
The lengthy research involved studying 5,000 fetuses and comparing the location of the placenta to the resulting gender of the child. The exciting part of this study is that a simple, safe ultrasound picture can show the location of the placenta at 6-8 weeks. The Ramzi Gender Prediction Method is not 100 percent accurate but the research has shown that it can accurately predict the gender of the baby a high percentage of the time, and does so in a very non-invasive, rather safe way.
Dr. Sadd Ramzi Ismail created the Ramzi Method for predicting the gender of a baby. Determining if a baby boy or baby girl as soon as possible is something that many parents want to know and finding out is big business. Many methods, myths and theories exist on ways to predict the gender but most of them are either unproven, unreliable or just old wives tales. Most parents who want to know the gender of the fetus are told while viewing their ultrasound taking during the middle trimester around 17-21 weeks. The Ramzi Method shows that if a women has an ultrasound at 6-8 weeks she can find out if the baby will be a boy or girl by simply viewing the ultrasound photo and seeing if the placenta is on the right or the left. On the right and research has shown over 90% of the time the child will be a boy and if it is on the left then research has shown that over 90% of the time the child will be a girl. The 10 year research study in Canada by Dr. Ramzi produced findings that are a rather amazing breakthrough for helping parents and doctors. Ramzi’s findings showed that a six week old fetus with a placenta or Chorionic Villi on the uterus’ right side revealed that 97.2% of the time the fetus was a baby boy. Furthermore, Ramzi showed that a six week old fetus with a placenta or chorionic villi on the uterus’ left side revealed that 97.5% of the time it was a female fetus.
Though early pregnancy ultrasounds are uncommon, as more people and doctors become aware of this study the interest in performing first trimester ultrasounds may increase. Most pregnant women get an ultrasound in the middle of their pregnancy as recommended by their doctor to check the baby. During this time around 19 weeks an ultrasound can show the sex organs of a fetus. A male penis in baby boys are a small, but easily seen organ if the baby is in the right position and the umbilical cord is not blocking the view. Most technicians can quickly determine during the ultrasound if they see evidence of a penis enough to determine the child will be a boy. The sex organs are not usually developed enough earlier in the pregnancy to be visible in an ultrasound. The reason ultrasounds are used to visually see the baby is because ultrasounds are considered a safe way to see the baby. Performing an ultrasound after 6 weeks could lead to a relatively safe alternative to determining the sex of the fetus especially when compared to the amniocentesis test and the CVS (Chorionic Villus Sampling) test. These more intrusive tests can also show gender early in a pregnancy but have been shown to possibly lead to complications and are usually not recommended unless a situation like for a follow-up genetic test on a fetus who has shown to possibly have a genetic issue.
The Ramzi Method is not always accurate, but the findings show that it may just be the best way to predict the gender of the child during early pregnancy. The Ramzi system is simple and the equipment is already in place. All you need is an ultrasound and you can have instant results by looking at it. Many parents have used the Ramzi method and have gotten a head start on knowing what color to paint the nursery. Many other parents have found out about this gender prediction system and look back on their ultrasound photographs to see if it correctly guessed if they were going to have a baby boy or baby girl.
A Sonogram, which is also called an ultrasound, is a computerized photograph taken using sound waves. Understanding how to read the ultrasound photograph from left to right is important, as a photograph of the belly as viewed is backwards which is different from when you are viewing the fetus on the monitor during the ultrasound test that is in effect looking right through the abdomen making things on the left actually appear on the left and making things on the right actually appear on the right.
Predicting the gender of the baby earlier in pregnancy can in some ways be helpful for families. For some it can help reduce the anxiety and get the family better prepared for the baby boy or baby girl. Fixing up the nursery and buying the gender appropriate clothes is often much easier done while you are earlier in your pregnancy. Choosing a baby name is not always easy. Correct gender predictions can help you focus your efforts on finding a boy or girl name and not having to find one that you like from both genders. Not all parents want to know the gender of the baby ahead of time but many definitely do want to know. For those that want to know the gender, they may prefer to be notified after 6 to 8 weeks of pregnancy as opposed to waiting till the 18th week of pregnancy. The Ramzi Method can be useful to some parents in helping predict the gender of the baby earlier in pregnancy with a statistically high percent accuracy rate.
The Ramzi Gender Prediction System is not always right but it is often used for entertainment purposes and to help get future moms and dads prepared and you should realize that there are other gender testing options. Usually people are informed correctly of the baby’s gender during the ultrasound test done during the middle of the pregnancy. During the ultrasound, you can see if you are having a baby boy or baby girl by looking closely at the sex organs in the ultrasound picture. If you can see the penis and scrotum you know you are having a male and if you see the labial lips then you are having a female. If the cord is between the legs during the ultrasound then you may not be able to figure out for sure what the baby’s gender will be and you will be back to guessing. The Ramzi method is considered a better baby gender prediction system compared to the ancient Chinese Lunar Calendar chart at guessing if the baby is a girl or boy.
